After a big win over Kelvin Gastelum, we all thought Robert Whittaker was getting the next title shot. With problems concerning the date, Marvin Vettori was the only one ready to step up for June 12th and compete against the undisputed UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. This will be their second fight after a competitive first fight to settle the score.

To be fair the italian dream does have a chance if you look at their last fight it was a split decision win, nobody has ever pushed Adesanya to a split decision win other than Vettori in the UFC & possibly MMA as a whole. If you look at the fight against Blachowitz its clear Izzy needs to polish (lol see what i did there) up his ground game and Vettoris ground game is solid, if Vettori can manage to get the takedowns and keep Izzy on the ground he has a chance but if Izzy can stuff the takedowns and keep it standing then he has a better chance of winning, it's 50/50 folks good luck to both men.

You were able to control you opponent offensively and defensively. You evade most of his attacks and your landing percentage is better and you landed more and accurately. He didn't have that much control over Izzy's offense in no round. The fight was even going into that last round why think Jan didn't want to risk standing. Even Dana White was talking about the bias judging he said the right man won but the judging was biased. And you think Marvin going to do what Gastelum did bro didn't you see what happened when Whittaker tried that shit. Bro stop bro just stop. Only Gastelum could pull off his game plan especially being that it goes well with his power. Does he use more of his tools than Gastelum? Yes. Is he better? I seriously can't wrap my head around why ppl are sleeping on Marvin. First of all I think he won the first fight. The second round def went to Izzy and the third def went to Marvin. Secondly Marvin has been dominant every since he fought Izzy and has gotten MUCH better. Third how am I the only one who sees he's the worst matchup for Israel style wise.

As fans we can run our mouth all we want about who won or who we "think" won or should have won but that doesn't matter at the end of the day the result is the result, the only people whos opinion matters are the judges whether we like it or not & their scores are final so no use complaining so based on that Izzy won that fight, I don't "think" Izzy won, he WON that's the official result.
